The TRATERME policy management has been very clear, with solid targets of growth, having recently moved from premises within the spirit of continuous improvement and total quality, always seeking to exceed the expectations of their customers and create the best conditions for their team of workers. In a global solution our customers come from many different locations and industries of different areas, with particular focus on automobile industry, chemical, thermal power plants, paper mills, foundries, cast iron, cast steel, aluminium, etc...
With this sense of collaboration with the national industry, TRATERME develops its activity guided by current market realities. For this, above and beyond the above, we have the support of the motor development entities, establishing close ties with universities, particularly with the Faculty of Engineering of Porto University and the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, where we actively collaborated with the next generation of engineers, sponsoring the industry award to the best students and cooperating in performing work experience. We also believe in close collaboration with other academic entities of vocational training, such as IEP, AFTEM, and Maia high school, promoting technological work experiences, in the field activity of mechanical technology, welding, etc. TRATERME is also starting a protocol with the Lycee Jean Mermoz, promoting internships to students of "Traitments des Matériaux”.

Internally, TRATERME believes that training is crucial for the ongoing maintenance of quality standards by which we rule, based on best practices recommended by ARP-1962 (certification of heat treatment personnel) and focusing on personal development of its team providing continuing education in different areas of their business surroundings. To this end, we have now three employees to attend the program RVCC - Recognition, Valuation and Certification, targeting a minimum education equivalent to the 12th grade for the whole team.
The accreditation in three major areas such as Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety, allowed TRATERME to achieve sedimentary patterns, techniques and processes in the workplace to the level of our Worldwide partners.
In the spirit of the open door police, we always take into account the opinion of others and we are also available for any assistance in order to provide solutions to optimize the physical properties of metals.
